Egypt’s President Sisi, UAE counterpart warn of repercussions of regional escalation

 The Egyptian president Abdel Fattah El Sisi and UAE president Sheikh Muhammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan  emphasized the need to strengthen their ties to resolve the ongoing regional crises through peaceful means to preserve the unity, territorial integrity and regional stability.

 


They emphasized that any escalation in the region must be avoided. They warned that any danger could lead to far reaching consequences for all. This discussion was held on monday. During the meeting, they discussed the developments in Gaza Strip. 

The Egyptian president Expressed his openness to receive additional emirati investments. As part of the visit, President el Sisi, visited University of Muhamed bin zayed of artificial intelligence and other advanced innovations in artifical intelligence and emerging technologies that support the UAE strategic objectives in this field. 

How were the relationship between both countries back in The Islamic civilization time?

In the Islamic civilization UAE didnt exist as a country. It was known as east Arabia. It was connected to Egypt by Islam and and Trade. They were united politcally, religiousy and by trade routes. Egypt brought the pearls from Gulf that traded with India while Egypt offered Grains, textiles and scholarships.

Merchants from Gulf Market dealt with the Egyptian market constantlly. This marked a peaceful and cooperative islamic system between the two regions.

 Egypt was a superpower of the muslim world in Medieval times (Ayyubid, Fatimid, Mamluk) and cairo was the capital of the cvilization.. Gulf regions stayed tribal and small. They still were loyal to the larger islamic order.

The first Emirates sultan to visit the Pyramids of Giza is Sultan Sheikh Zayed bin sultan Al Nahyan in March 1988.
