President El-Sisi attended Davos economical conference and emphasized Egypt's commitment to economical reforms

On 21 January 2026, President Abdelfattah el Sisi said Egypt continues to implement the economic reform program despite the global crisis. He also said that Egypt adopted a comprehensive package of mesaures aimed to control the country's monetary policies to restore investor confidence. 



This remarks was being held at the World Economic Forum in Davos. This session was attended by head of state and senior international officials including Libyan Presidential council Muhammed Menfi and Lebanese prime minister Nawaf Salam. 

He also emphasized that Egypt has drawn special attention to strengthen the role of the private sector as a partner in the economic growth and development. 

Additionally, El-Sisi is scheduled to meet U.S President Donald Trump to discuss the latest regional and international developments of mutual interest. They're looking forward to enhance the cooperation between Egypt and US to meet the interests of both countries and to support international stability.
