President el Sisi discusses regional crisis with the minister of foreign affairs of Saudi Arabia Kingdom

 In 5 January, a meeting was held in Cairo to discuss the regional crisis. The spokesman for the presidency ambassador Mohammed El Shennawy said that the president welcomed Prince Faisal bin Farahan and asked for his greetings to be conveyed to the Saudi King. Also, el Sisi emphasized Egyptian commitment to achieve ciioeration with the kingdom across various sectors. 

The president emphasized the importance of intensifying the coordination between Egypt and Saudi Arabia on various topics of mutual interest.  There is an alignment of Egyptian and Saudi stances regarding peaceful solutions in regional crisis particularly Sudan, Yemen, Somalia and the Gaza Strip.

President El-Sisi attended Davos economical conference and emphasized Egypt's commitment to economical reforms

On 21 January 2026, President Abdelfattah el Sisi said Egypt continues to implement the economic reform program despite the global crisis. He also said that Egypt adopted a comprehensive package of mesaures aimed to control the country's monetary policies to restore investor confidence.  This remarks was being held at the World Economic Forum in Davos.
